Synopsis:

Ed Harris directs and stars in this Western, which co-stars Viggo Mortensen and Jeremy Irons. When Virgil Cole (Harris) and Everett Hitch (Mortensen) arrive in Appaloosa, they find a town suffering at the hands of villaionous rancher Randall Bragg (Irons). Their attempts to free the town from Bragg's tyranny are complicated by the arrival of beautiful young widow Allison French (Renee Zellweger).
