Perhaps the fastest comedy ever made was this second screen version of Ben Hecht's play 'The Front Page', with Cary Grant as smooth-talking newspaper editor Walter Burns who sends his star reporter - and ex-wife - Hildy Johnson (Rosalind Russell) to cover the execution of a murderer, as a ruse to make her miss her wedding to an unworthy fiancee, (Ralph Bellamy).
