Synopsis:

Thoroughly engrossing real life drama depicting the successful attempt by Lowell Bergman, the producer of investigative TV show '60 Minutes', (a bewigged Al Pacino), to persuade research chemist Jeffrey Wigland, (an almost unrecognisable Russell Crowe), to blow the whistle on the tobacco industry's suppressed knowledge of the harmful and addictive effects of smoking. Also featuring Christopher Plummer.
