Synopsis:

SPECIAL EVENT! AN EVENING OF SILENT CINEMA with two classic horror movies from Germany. Compare Conrad Veidt's (black) magical performance in Robert Wiene's 1919 version of THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI with Max Shreck's overpowering vampire in F. W. Murnau's 1922 film. NOSFERATU. Nothing since has surpassed their eerie fascination. It is hoped that the equally imaginative Neil Brand will provide a suitably sinister 'live' musical accompaniment.
