Synopsis: |
In turn of the century backwoods Canada, a photographer prepares for his annual cross-country business trip only to find his wife has decided to help a strained marriage by coming too. Their lyrical journey through the lush valleys of Quebec is beautifully captured in French Canadian Jean Beaudin's charming and sensitive romance that led Monique Mercure to pick up the Best Actress Award at Cannes for her performance as Martin's wife. |
