Synopsis:

Steven Sodebergh's low budget first feature was the surprise hit of the 1989 Cannes Film Festival, collecting the coveted Palme d'Or. The lies and tension in the complex inter-relationship between a successful lawyer, his repressed wife, her promiscuous sister and his old college friend, are exposed by the latter's obsession with watching women confess sexual experiences to his video camera.
