Synopsis:

Director Wim Wenders returns to his native Berlin with this fantastic story of an angel (Bruno Ganz) who falls in love with a trapeze artist and is seduced by the lureof experiencing earthly pleasures and pain. Narrated by Peter Falk, (a fallen angel himself), this pleasingly whimsical film makes superb use of Henri Alekan's black & white images of the ravaged city.
